Confessions & something new
I have a confession to make - I just can't make things happen here this month like I had wanted to. Oh, I know you aren't sitting around waiting for my next blog post on soul care (or something else) but I promised content a couple of times of month and that's just not going to happen right now.

If you haven't been following me on social media, then you may not be aware of my father's recent cancer diagnosis - glioblastoma in his brain. It was a blow and sent our little family into a bit of a spiral. The good news is, he is doing well (despite a setback this week with an infection) and should begin his treatment soon (if interested stay up to date on him click here).

These events (along with my day job and taking Spring Break with the kiddos - which also involved a wonderful trip out to Austin to see my family) has kept me from this little corner of the world. I'm going to be honest, I just haven't had the energy for it. So I took April off.
As I get older - especially in areas where I have created spaces - I have to be honest about what I can and can't do. Sometimes that means guarding my energy. And this month, taking a break from this site was one way I could do that. I'm looking forward to jumping back in next month with more content on soul care, an outside house project we are currently working on, AND a new program just in time for Mother's Day.

And if you are starting to think about Mother's Day (and end of year teacher gifts - hello, it's that time of year again), consider a few items from my shop. Here are a few of my favorites.
