Within one week the kids finished school, we moved to our new house and I staring at the next couple of weeks with a bit of trepidation. What in the hell am I going to do with these kids for the next eight weeks. Is anyone else with me?
Some of you may just be relieved that homeschooling is over. And maybe I was one of the lucky ones. Days were easier when the kids were focused on their studies (they were pretty disciplined and I rarely had to stay on them to complete their work).
Now my husband and I have to figure out how to work while our kids have no where to go, nothing to do - seriously. The pool is closed. They can't congregate with friends. And I refuse to let them stay on screens all day (I guess ask me by the end of the summer because we may have given up at that point).
So now I'm feeling just a little - well maybe a lot - of stress around what to do with my kids this summer.
Parents, any tips?
